Introduction to Biblical Feminine Models series

Finally, I get to do this!

This has been in my mind for a time: I’ve wanted to peer into the women in the Bible and draw lessons from them as a today woman who loves being a woman in all its fullness.

In previous posts, I looked at how the feminine and masculine mature differently through the psychological lens; borrowing from Carl Jung’s archetypal framework especially; but from others too. While Jung isn’t MY standard, and that I find him very problematic from a Christian point of view, disagreeing with most of his work particularly his collective subscience concept and ‘Philemon’, I do find usefulness and value in his archetypes’ work and on personality thence; my work on that. Please note that MY archetypes and shadows are NOT SPIRITUAL AT ALL! They’re psychological and behavioural. Forgive me, I shouldn’t have previously taken this for granted.

That said, we may deep into the spiritual world a bit with this. I wanted to study 5 women so, I made a poll and people voted for the 5 women that will be discussed subsequently and in order of most popular to least popular. Stay tuned.

Thank you so much for your input.
