Now, we cannot close without mentioning the CRUSADES (1095-1291). I think they played a huge role in ending slavery, or trying to, being that they were called to aid the church; to counter the Islamic conquests that was capturing, and enslaving Christians and territories in general.
I’m I wrong in thinking sex out of marriage, before or after, is the underlying reason why marriages are so rough today? We have to figure it out individually and as a society sooner than later, don’t we? What do you think is the reason for the grim picture painted of marriage?

Is God willing to prevent evil, but is not able? Then He is not omnipotent.
Is He able, but not willing? Then He is malevolent.
Is He able and willing? Then where does evil come from?
Is He neither able nor willing? Then why call Him God?
This is what I call Eid-al-Fitr which translates to ‘feast of breaking the fast’. The idea of blind faith is far from Christianity and the Bible has abundantly offered reason and proof to support the claims it presents. We are called to use all our senses to image God in the world. It’s possible to stumble accidentally on the truth BUT there are inexhaustible evidences you can look into that can cement your confidence in what you believe and be able to proof in ‘court’ to be reasonable and true.
